Luthier Alert

Dear Sir,
I am a loyal subscriber to your mag. I just received the latest copy of your mag and read the letter from Brett Jordan about his homemade bass. I recently had a guitar made by Perry Ormsby of WA - a headless Telecaster. It is perfection - I can’t put it any other way:

• Alder body - chambered with sword slash f-hole
• Maple neck, Ebony fretboard with compound radius and gargoyle inlay (26 types of Abalone!)
• Seymour Duncan pickups with coil tap and phase switch, plus Bill Lawrence Q-filter (acoustic tones)
• Ford XR6 blue paint
• ABM headless system

I hope you can do an article on Perry - he will totally build anything! He’s a real top bloke and I’m sure he’d make a great article for your magazine: http://www.ormsbyguitars.com

THANKS for the letter Ben. You’re certainly not the first to speak so highly of Perry’s guitars. You’ll be pleased to know, however, that since we heard from you, we’ve been in touch with Perry and hope to be reviewing some of his fine guitars in the not too distant future. The guy sure knows his stuff. If anyone else has guitars made by Perry and they want to show them off in the mag (or guitars made by anyone else, for that matter), send in your hi-resolution photos and we’ll do our best to run them here in Feedback.
